The Artist
Born in Concord, NC She lives and works in her at home studio in Mount Pleasant, NC with her husband and son, William and Everett. She started her art career in the relm of ceramic sculputre, focusing mostly on conceptual works that delt with ones enate attachment to objects or material items and the sence of belonging that they provoked. Sentiment has always been a large componet in the drive behind Lenora's artworks. She is constently striving to capture ones emotion for the subject matter that she is referencing. After graduation Lenora transitioned her primary artform to painting where she explored various styles and subject matter. Perfectly Made Art Studio is her way to live her dream of using her God-given abilities to create meaningful works of art.
Artist Statment
Lenora Biggers
In my artistic journey, I seek to blend the detail of realism with the spontaneity of impressionism. Through my paintings, I aspire to encapsulate the energy and raw emotion present within the subjects/subject matter that I depicting. I am driven by my desire to bridge the gap between visual accuracy and the emotive power of mark marking, colors and textures. By blending artictic styles, I aim to capture the diverse sentiment of my audience along with the energy/life of my subject matter. Each mark is an attempt to capture not just the pysical appearance but also the essence and vitality that define my subjects. Through the interplay of light, shadow, and the dynamic intermingling of hues, I strive to convey the fleeting moments and poignant emotions embedded within each scene. My art is an an exploration of the depth of human experience, an endeavor to resonate with the hearts and souls of those who view it.
